Mastectomy-friendly fit

Me (right) in the Hero Tee, with a friend at Finders Keepers Market.

Made for everyone. And for women like me.

Every FOKE piece is designed to fit a whole spectrum of bodies: petite to plus, small busts to full ones, curvy or straight up and down. That's the whole point. You shouldn't need a special shop to find clothes that feel good.

But I also design with one group of women very close to my heart: women who've had a mastectomy. I'm one of them. After my double mastectomy I chose to live flat, and I quickly learned how many clothes just aren't made for a changed chest. So I made my own.

How I've designed for it

  • Necklines. Considered so they sit comfortably and look great on a flat or changed chest, as well as on big and small busts.
  • Fabric. Soft, stretchy 190gsm cotton jersey, chosen for comfort against your skin, so nothing feels tight or fussy.
  • Fit and comfort. Relaxed shapes that move with you, with details that flatter your shape instead of hiding it.

Where you'll find it

  • The REN dress: a cinched waist, shaped bodice, soft tulip silhouette and sleeve details, with a neckline designed for flat and changed chests too.
  • The Hero Tee: a slight A-line shape, a slightly longer length that sits over your hips, and side splits for easy movement.

Why it matters

After surgery, getting dressed can feel like one more hard thing. I wanted to make pieces that bring the joy back: bold colour, a great fit and zero fuss. Clothes that let you take up space again, exactly as you are.

These pieces aren't "special" clothes. They're FOKE clothes, made for everyone, including women like me.

And 5% of every sale supports breast cancer research through the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.
